- I love teaching! I work very hard to create an environment that encourages learning through play and discovery. I have taught every grade K - 4 and also 5th and 6th grade art. I guess you can say I am versatile! I love the arts and I work very hard integrating them into our curriculum. I believe most children relate to the arts and it is an avenue for me to incorporate different learning styles. Kindergarten lays a foundation for success in all the grades so I take my responsibilities at school seriously. I love teaching this grade because it allows me more opportunities to be creative and I really enjoy early childhood children. I love getting to know each student personally and challenging them to "move to the next level," socially and academically. I am always evaluating my teaching strategies and my classroom environment so we can have a harmonious year that flows naturally throughout the months.
